DESIGN, SUPPLY, AND DELIVERY OF 800 kV STANDARD REFERENCE CAPACITOR (110 NEWMARKET BLVD, WINNIPEG, MANITOBA)
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The Contractor shall perform all that is required in the design, manufacture, test, prepare for shipping, load, transport, deliver and commission the ITEMs of Work to the Purchaser on or before the agreed delivery date(s) as per the Technical Requirements.
The Work may include one or more of the following ITEM(s):
ITEM 1 – Supply and delivery of 800 kV Standard Reference Capacitor
(a) With commissioning at Purchaser’s site
(b) With commissioning at Contractor’s facility
ITEM 2 – Purchaser’s Option
(c) Unit is designed for Lightning and Switching levels:
i) Lightning Impulse Level: 1300 kV peak (1.2/50 μs)
ii) Switching Impulse Level: 1050 kV peak (250/2500 μs)
(d) Unit is equipped with an additional secondary circuit (low voltage unit) that allows the capacitor to be used as a voltage divider.
