Purpose and Scope
Prairie Mountain Health (PMH), on behalf of the participating sites listed on SCHEDULE “A” PARTICIPATING SITES”, is accepting proposals from Proponents for the provision of generator testing and inspection services at various locations located within the PMH boundaries.
The scope of this engagement includes semi-annual, annual, and five year test and inspections. Testing and inspection Services will be done in accordance with CAN CSA C282-09 in compliance with the MB Fire Code. Maintenance is optional and Sites are permitted to obtain maintenance to correct any deficiencies found during the test and inspection outside of this Agreement.
Equipment that is under warranty is not included in this Agreement until the warranty period is over.
It is the intent to enter into an Agreement for a term of five (5) years with one or more Proponents who will undertake to provide the services as identified in this RFP. Proponent’s will have the option of providing pricing for any or all of the Sites as listed on SCHEDULE “A” PARTICIPATING SITES, based on capabilities. The awarded Agreement is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2017
If the Proponents agree at the time of their submission, there will be the option to extend the awarded Agreement for one (1) additional term of one (1) year. The decision to exercise the optional terms shall be at the sole discretion of PMH.
The purpose of this RFP is to:
- establish a contract between the Selected Proponent and PMH to perform the services at the Participating Sites as outlined in this RFP;
- receive proposals that meet the requirements of the RFP and contain sufficient information for PMH to select the Selected Proponent.Proposals will be analyzed and Proponents may be asked to meet with PMH to provide additional information.
Proponents are advised that should it be determined that other sites within the PMH will require the same or similar services as outlined in this RFP for the purposes of ensuring compatibility, PMH may not issue another competitive bid.
