This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Elevator Consulting & Inspection Services as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).

The scope of the RFP includes inspection services, day to day elevator consulting services, and MHSAL (MB Health, Seniors and Active Living) Site Safety & Security funded elevator consulting services (up to $1M total project budget) as requested by the Purchaser.

The following services are excluded from the scope of this RFP:

MHSAL (MB Health, Seniors and Active Living) Site Safety & Security funded projects above $1M total project budget.
Capital Planning projects
Projects using external funds (i.e. donations, foundation funding) only where there are specific restrictions on that funding

The term of the agreement is for 5 years plus 2 x 2 year option terms.
Proposals can be submitted via hard copy.
Alternatively, proponents may provide their bid submission in electronic format by uploading their bid submission as per the instructions in section 1.6.3.
