Description

The River East Transcona Division is seeking proposals for audit services commencing with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

The audit is to be conducted in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS), Canadian generally accepted auditing standards (Canadian GAAS) as well as statutory provisions of the Manitoba Public Schools Act, Sections 41(8) through 41(14).

The successful bidder to the Request for Proposal will be required to audit the consolidated financial statement for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The Division is seeking a multi-year agreement of five (5) fiscal year ends. The Initial Term of may be renewed annually for successive renewal terms of one (1) year each thereafter by mutual agreement. The Division expects the annual audit process to commence in September and to conclude with management review by the end of October.
