MBQ-21-004 - Consulting Engineering Services for the MBQ - DMAF

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) is seeking proposals for the provision of consulting engineering services required to design, tender, contract administration and inspection of phases 2, 3 and 4 of the DMAF watermain distribution project located in the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte First Nation community. The main objectives for this project are:
Design Phase

• To provide design and engineering services for the complete development of the remaining DMAF phase 2,3, and 4 of the proposed DMAF watermain phasing project. Refer to Appendix B, Fig.2.
• To provide the First Nation with a cost-effective design for the MBQ – DMAF Watermain Distribution Project that meets all regulatory requirements including a complete and clear set of contract documents (contract, tender documents, plans and specifications) in accordance with this Terms of Reference and within specified schedule milestones in this Terms of Reference.  See Section 5.2.1.

• To provide tender administration services, which include but not limited to advertising and facilitating tender, answering inquiries, issuing tender addenda, if any, required for the selection of the Contractor. Coordinate and administer tenders for pre-purchased items as necessary.
• To perform contract administration and construction inspection services required during construction including quality control activities and cost control and to ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• To complete warranty period services to ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
