Sealed Tenders clearly marked on the envelope as to contents will be received at the MPE Engineering Ltd. office, Front Reception desk, Suite 101, 10630 – 172 Street, Edmonton, AB T5S 1H8 before 2:00:00 pm local time, Tuesday, July 30, 2019 for the construction of:
Whitefish Lake First Nation - Waste Transfer Station Upgrades
The work included in this project is located in Atikameg, Alberta.
Major work items are as follows:

- Compacted Fill 3,000 m2
- Gravel Roadway 4,560 m2
- Retaining Wall 1 L.S.
- Concrete Pads 165 m2
- Vehicle Garage 1 L.S.
- Power Service, Distribution and Kiosk 1 L.S.
Tender documents are available in electronic format only through BuildWorks Canada after 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
A general site visit will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Waste Transfer site. All tenderers are encouraged to attend this once only scheduled site inspection.
Each Tender must be accompanied by a bank draft or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Tender Price, payable to the Whitefish Lake First Nation.
Tenderers are also required to supply a Consent of Surety Form in the amount equal to fifty (50%) percent of the Contract sum.
The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in, or reject any or all tenders, or accept the Tender deemed most favourable in the interest of the Owner.
Tenders will be opened in public.
The Contractor is strongly encouraged to utilize local equipment and labour on this project. To inquire regarding local equipment and labour, contact Wesley Grey, Public Works Manager at 780-536-0883. Refer to Section 00800 for further details.
