Scope of Work:
➢Preparation of all exterior surfaces of train station currently painted
(siding, window trim, etc.)for priming and painting.This will include all required scraping & sanding of lose paint, filling holes, washing, etc.
➢Colour chips to be pre-approved by Facilities & Recreation Manager for all paint colours.
➢Oil-based paint to be used.
➢All exterior surfaces to be painted with exposed wood due to flaking/peeling/scraped/missing paint
must be primed.This may include some current sections of wood that are rotting and will be replaced with new boards by SWM before the selected bidder begins work. Completed priming to be approved by Facilities & Recreation Managerprior to paint being applied.
➢All exterior surfaces currently painted to receive two or more coats of paint . Additional coats of paint will only be required if two coats doesnot provide a satisfactory finish (consistent/even colour and sheen) as determined by the Facilities &Recreation Manager.
➢Selected bidder will have to work around occasional facility rental dates–provided by the Facilities & Recreation Manager.
