The objective of the project is to upgrade the Pivotal and Content Manager base infrastructure and related Integration in the DEV, UAT & PROD environments to the latest version releases.
The OEB uses Avolin’s Pivotal v6.5.3 / UX CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and HP Content Manager v9.1 Document Management system to manage the work associated with License renewals, Rates and Facilities Applications, Board Initiatives, Consumer Interactions and Dispute Resolutions, Compliance Management, Market Participant Enquiry Management, Rates Reporting and Record keeping, etc. Pivotal Web parts uses Windows SharePoint.
This project will allow the Infrastructure team to prepare the base Infrastructure in the DEV, UAT & PROD environments for the next versions of Pivotal and Content Manager. Once this project is complete, the Business Applications group can start assessing, developing and testing code to support the migration of existing applications to the new base Infrastructure.
The new Pivotal and Content Manager base infrastructure should be introduced into the existing VMware 6.7 virtualized environment on Windows Server 2016 Operating systems and related SQL DB’s, OBIEE / Visual Analyzer, Windows SharePoint Essentials, etc. which should result in overall efficiency.
Participating Proponents will have the option of providing a proposal for either upgrades or both. Perference will be given to those Proponents which provide a proposal for both upgrades.
