Description of Procurement
This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit a Proposal indicating their organization’s capability and resources in providing elevator repair and maintenance services to 19 proprietary elevators for the University, as further described in Appendix B – Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).
The University intends to execute a Master Services Agreement, as provided in Appendix E.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

The Minimum Passing Score is 49 Points out of 70 for Stage 2.

Contract Details
The term of the Final Agreement is three (3) years, plus one (1) optional renewal period of 2 (two) years, in the discretion of the University.
The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:

To gain a better understanding of the existing site conditions and constraints, all Proponents are requested to attend an optional site visit, scheduled for the following date:
Optional Site Visit Date: June 13, 2025, 9:00 AM EDT
Site Visit Registration date: On or before , June 12, 2025, 4:00 PM EDT
To register for Site Visit, please email bids@torontomu.ca by referencing the RFP and including the name and email address of the individual(s) attending.
For clarity, registration is not required to attend the Site Visit; however, it does assist us in our planning.
Please note that the Site Visit is expected to be approximately 3 hours in length.
Site Visit shall be on the University Campus downtown Toronto.
Please meet us at the lobby of 285 Victoria St. in order to sign in with the University’s Procurement Representative.

The University reserves the right to make additional Site Visits available to potential Proponents, at the University’s sole discretion. These Site Visits, if offered, shall be communicated via future addendum.
