Description

The Toronto Port Authority, in collaboration with CIMA+, is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to rehabilitate the Dock Wall at the Port of Toronto in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. The scope of work includes repairing damaged concrete surfaces on both the top and sides of the dock wall, restoring and resurfacing existing steel railings, removing existing safety stations and rescue ladders and installing new ones, and conducting underwater repairs to address holes in steel sheet piles at three identified areas. This project aims to enhance the structural integrity and safety of the dock wall while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

A mandatory bidders’ meeting and site tour will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Participants are required to gather at the PortsToronto Works Department at 23 Unwin Ave for a project briefing, followed by a site tour of the Port of Toronto. Bidders must submit the names of their attendees to the Project Contact Person at least 48 hours in advance, with a maximum of three representatives per bidder. Personal protective equipment, including safety boots and a personal flotation device (PFD), is required for the site tour.
