Description

Sturgeon Public Schools is located north of Edmonton and provides services to over 5,200 students across 17 education sites. Currently within SPS across all our sites, we have over 70 standalone and network print devices including multifunction machines (print/copy/scan). There are over 3,500 district owned devices that can access print devices on our network, in addition to other student and staff owned devices that regularly connect to our wireless network daily.
This document is intended to provide information for vendors to determine whether they can provide enterprise print/scan devices and enterprise print management software for the Division. It will enable vendors to provide sufficient information for the SPS Technology Services Department to determine which device(s) will be adopted in the Division.
Contracts will be awarded to the vendor with the highest overall score. Individual orders will be placed with the vendor that best meets the requirements of the site at the sole discretion of the Division and the requester.
Contracts will be for a five-year period commencing January 2021 to January 2026. At the sole discretion of SPS, the contract may be renewed on a yearly basis for up to an additional four years.
Renewals will be based on vendor performance and pricing that is satisfactory to SPS.
SPS reserves the right to order other manufacturer’s devices to ensure compatibility with existing fleets where deemed necessary.
