RFT 6625 - Bob Wright Centre (BWC) Fume Hood Upgrades

Sealed Tenders will be received by the University of Victoria up to 3:00 PM local time, Thursday November 19th , 2020 at the:
Facilities Management Department,
Mail-Slot of Entrance Door on the West Side of Building,
Saunders Building, University of Victoria,

Bidder's submission must be delivered prior to the Closing Time. To meet Provincial Health Officer directives, UVic will not be holding a public bid opening. UVic will issue the unofficial bid results to the Vancouver Island Construction Association.

Tenders shall be submitted in accordance with, and subject to, the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Specifications. Each Tender shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the Tender Price.

An optional but recommended Site Tour is scheduled for 1:00pm on Tuesday November 17th, 2020.
Interested parties should meet at Bob Wright Centre entrance vestibule. It is requested that those interested in attending the site tour contact the prime consultant to confirm their intent.

Please be advised that we will be adhering to the Provincial Health Officer's COVID 19 guidelines as it applies to this site tour. Tours will be staged upon arrive, due to lab occupancy limitations. Please bring proper PPE (facemask and safety glasses).

The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.

The CCDC2 2008 Stipulated Price Contract Documents with amendments will apply to this Contract.
