Description

Red Deer College (“RDC”) hereby provides notice of its intention to enter a sole source agreement with Vametric for an immediate competency evaluation software (Valid-8) for an initial term of 3 years with an option to extend on the same or similar terms and conditions for an additional 2 years.

As RDC continues to evolve its programming choice and deliver flexibility while meeting the needs of employers with a strong competent workforce, as well as its learners by providing unique options to demonstrate competency, RDC seeks to procure a secure software toolkit. This software will be used to manage the collection, assessment and verification of evidence through video, photos, audio, documentation, etc. for certification of in-service learning, determining program eligibility, documenting audit and evaluation processes, and supporting a new way of granting credentials and professional licenses to practice.

Software is to be fully functional and available for implementation on January 5, 2021.
