BC Hydro is seeking one (1) Service Provider to provide a full range of predominantly eco-friendly BC Hydro branded products, available for order and purchase through an online platform (BC Hydro Brand Shop), fulfil custom orders for products that are not available on the BC Hydro shop such as awards and recognition items, promotional products for various virtual and in person events and programs as well as uniforms and promotional products for the BC Hydro Community Teams, and streamline the ordering and payment process through a vendor hosted online solution.
The initial contract term is three (3) years, which may be extended for two (2) additional two (2) year terms, and all extensions will be at the same rates agreed to for the initial contract term.
Orders for BC Hydro branded products will come either through direct credit card purchases by BC Hydro employees using either personal or corporate credit cards, or through BC Hydro issued orders (including purchase order commitments).
The incumbent under a current contract for BC Hydro branded products is not precluded from responding to this RFP.
The unit cost of all branded products provided to BC Hydro in the Proponent's Proposal at Part 3, Schedule 3-2 Compensation should be inclusive of all incidental costs, including but not limited to brokerage fees, duties, overhead, and any other costs incurred by the Service Provider in sourcing the products.
Mandatory Requirements include the following: 1) Must have an online ordering website for ordering BC Hydro branded products that accepts credit cards, (VISA and Mastercard at minimum), 2) Must have an existing warehouse in the Metro Vancouver area. (See definition of Metro Vancouver Area in section 1.2 under Definitions) and 3) Must be compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards and provide certification evidence.
The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (3) years, which may be extended for up to (4) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (7) years.
This procurement may involve negotiation.
This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
