NOI 047 - Kofax software maintenance and support

The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) hereby gives notice that it intends to direct award a contract to Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. to provide ICBC with Kofax software maintenance and support, including Kofax software licenses fees.

The contract term will be for one year from March 01, 2021 to February 28, 2022. The value of the contract during the term is $247,003.00 USD, plus applicable taxes.

This direct award is to continue the support and maintenance of the Kofax solution while ICBC prepares a solicitation with the intention of entering into a long term contract currently estimated for 3 years with 2 options to extend of 1 year each. The Kofax solution is a critical part of the ICBC IT systems, with significant customizations that Konica Minolta had assisted ICBC with, and ICBC needs to ensure that these customizations also receive the support and maintenance with the successful vendor.

Vendors wishing to object to this decision should send an email to Strategic Sourcing on or before 2:00 PM Pacific Time on February 03, 2021 with specific reasons for their objection. Vendor qualifications, compliance with BC laws and the ability to provide the same products and services, same level of services at a lower cost will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of vendor's objections.
