The Ministry of Labour and Immigration is seeking unique Integrated Training opportunity that would fall under the Government of Alberta’s Training for Work policy. The goal is to work with interested vendors to provide competitive advantages to the workforce in Calgary. This project will require strong employer relationships that will translate into meaningful individualized, employment opportunities for participants.
The main focus of this project is to provide critical training skills in a client-centered approach to connect client with employers. This will require extensive collaboration with employers to bridge the gap between program participants and employers. A key feature of this program will be the provision of “just-in-time” training resources to Albertans who may already possess some technical, transferable skills and experience, but need to build on, or pivot their skills and experience into the technology field.
