Work Description:
Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents: Installation of new generator system complete with double sided automatic transfer switch (ATS), subbase tank for 24 hr, generator pad, and associated components. Existing electrical power service and generator system must remain operational at all times until the transition to the fully commissioned new generator is complete and ready for switch over. At no time shall the building be without power. Removal and disposal of existing generator system, ATS, and fuel system. Removal and disposal of redundant feeders and raceways. Commissioning and testing of all equipment installed as part of this contract. Demonstration and training of personnel as directed by the Departmental Representative.
Refer to Section 01 79 00 Demonstration and Training. Installation of all necessary wiring and equipment for fire alarm tie-in. Patch, repair and paint walls and ceiling surfaces and parking lot. Add supervision generator run/trouble at fire alarm annunciator.
SITE VISIT: There is no site visit.
Delivery Date: The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (26) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $100,001 to $500,000.
