Description

OCWA is issuing this Request for Bid (the “RFB”) to find qualified vendors who will become part of a Vendor of Record (VOR) roster to provide industrial vacuum truck services.

OCWA is interested in retaining the services of up to nine (9) Bidders as “Vendors of Record” to perform industrial vacuum truck services for its Facilities.

The successful Bidder(s) shall provide the hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal, emergency spill response services, industrial vacuum, water blasting, and industrial cleaning services at the South Peel Facilities for a three (3) year period, with the possibility of two (2) years extension.

All qualified Bidders shall possess the following qualifications:
i. Certificate of Approval for a Waste Management System as a carrier issued by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP).
ii. Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Emergency Response, Lock Out and Tagging Procedures,
iii. Certification with Operation of Gas Monitors, Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Breathing Apparatus/SCBA Equipment, WHMIS, First Aid / CPR, Fall Arrest, Lifting Devices.
