Description

Sealed tenders for the following Bridge Fabrication and Installation Contract will be received by the Timber Sales Manager, BC Timber Sales, Strait of Georgia Business Area, 370 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, British Columbia, V9W 6Y7, up to 1:30 p.m. (local time) on April 29, 2021, at which time tender submissions will be opened in private. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened.

· The fabrication of one L165 15m x 5.49m (50' x 18') all steel portable bridge,
· The fabrication and installation of one L165 18.288m x 4.88m steel girder bridge with concrete composite deck, and,
· The fabrication and installation of one L165 15.64m x4.88m permanent steel girder with concrete composite deck.

The 15m all steel portable bridge will be delivered to Campbell River, BC and it must be delivered no later than
July 9, 2021.

The 18m bridge will be installed near Zeballos BC on the Artlish FSR at about 10.5Km. It will require the removal of an existing log bridge, site preparation and installation of the new bridge.

The 15m bridge will be installed about 30 minutes north of Campbell River on the Mohun West FSR at about 9.1Km. It will require the removal of an existing arch culvert, site preparation and installation of the new bridge.
