AMENDMENT 001:

The purpose of this amendment is to publish a series of Questions/Answers regarding the Requirement (Annex A).

*** This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 31206-216162/A dated 2021/01/15 with a closing of 2021/03/10 at 14:00 (EST).

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT BIDS ELECTRONICALLY USING THE CANADA POST EPOST CONNECT APPLICATION for the subject bid solicitation.

This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

*** CAST FILM/SHEET LINE:

The National Research Council (NRC), Winnipeg - Additive Manufacturing site, is looking to purchase a Seven (7) Layer, Five (5) Extruder Cast Film/Sheet Line for Packaging Applications for its new site in Winnipeg, MA.

All the technical specifications are detailed in the Request for proposal (RFP).

This requirement also includes many accessories / deliverables, such as an on-site training for the operation and use of the system and its peripheral accessories.

Delivery location: Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

*** The supplier will be selected following an evaluation based on mandatory technical AND financial criteria specified in this RFP.
