T-MCC-2103 - Shinimicas Fire Department Building

The Municipality of the County of Cumberland provides funding for 16 fire departments throughout the county with the Shinimicas Fire Department being part of that group. All aspects of construction will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. This will include but not limited to site work, all concrete placement, wall structures, roof structure electrical, mechanical, drywall, fill, paint, flooring, doors and hardware and all other construction related duties to make the project complete. It will also be the responsibility of the successful bidder to;
1. Provide and maintain sanitary facilities for site personnel.
2. Remove temporary facilities from site when no longer required.
3. Remove all construction and other waste from site
4. Provide all permits and approvals required from regulatory agencies or any authorities having jurisdiction over the construction and operation of the building.

All work must be verified on site and comply to all applicable building codes. The contractor must get the Municipality's approval of proposed construction procedures and schedules prior to beginning construction. The truck bay must be completed and available for use on or before November 01, 2021.
