Description

1) This RFP is open to all interested vendors.
2) The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires the lease of various sized fleet vehicles (“Units”) on an as required basis. Units will be used to transport City employees and equipment to various locations as well as support diverse operations that will require customization and accessories for a period of thirty-one (31) days or more of consecutive use, not to exceed a maximum of eleven (11) months.
3) This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4) Unless specified otherwise elsewhere in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Terms, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), it is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The Deliverables are included in six (6) schedules. The City intends to enter up to six (6) Agreements for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement(s) will be for a term of two (2) years. The Agreements may be renewed two (2) additional times for two (2) years each time, not to exceed six (6) years. The Agreement will not include a Proof of Concept (POC).
