Description

The Regional District is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide:

1. Comprehensive engineering consulting services at the Regional District’s Sechelt Landfill. The work pertains to the all aspects of landfill design, operations and closure, environmental programs, and reporting in compliance with BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (MoE) requirements.

2. Comprehensive engineering consulting services at the Regional District’s Pender Harbour Transfer Station and the closed landfill at that site. The work pertains to ongoing operations of the transfer station, post-closure care of the close landfill, environmental programs and reporting in compliance with the MoE requirements.

3. Other solid waste related engineering services as required.

It is the intent of the Regional District to select a consultant to provide the required services on an “as-required” basis for the duration of the contract period.
