The Langara Students' Union (LSU) is a student association governed by students who attend Langara College. The College plans to renovate the upper floor area of the Student Union-Building to better accommodate and meet the changes of LSU with the rearrangement of offices, meeting rooms and resources area. Utilizing more effectively the space designated for the LSU.
Langara College, through this Invitation to Tender (ITT), is inviting firms who have a proven experience working in an occupied building to submit bid proposal for the provisions of renovating the existing office space of the Student Union to improve functionality.
Optional Site Tour: July 16, 2021 at 10:00am
The attendance in the Site Tour is optional, the College will not be offering any additional tours. To facilitate the Site Tour, the following rules apply:
• Bidders/Subcontractors should confirm attendance to the Site Tour indicating the number and names of the individuals attending [maximum of 3 people per bidder] to the ITT Contact via e-mail by Wednesday, July 14, 2021. This is required to enable the College to manage the Tour ensuring compliance with current COVID Health and Safety protocols.
o Wear a Mask.
o Maintain Physical-Distancing during the tour.
o Meet at the Campus Security near Building A at 10:00am.
o Each person should hand sanitize upon entry to the building.
o Maintain a 2 meters physical distance from each other.
o Avoid touching face, eyes, and mouth.
o Sanitize hands upon exiting the building.
• We cannot guarantee admission to any confirmation received after July 14th.
• The College will send out additional instructions (if applicable) to those Bidders/Subcontractors who confirm their attendance to the Site Tour. • Bidders/Subcontractors should be on time as the College will not repeat nor re-visit areas that has been shown already.
• To ensure that all questions and answers are captured and shared to everyone, questions of a complex nature will not be answered during the tour and shall be submitted in writing to the ITT Contact by the time indicated in section 1.4 Key Dates & Deadline. Any information obtained verbally cannot be relied upon.
