21PQR39200001 - PQR for Destination Development, Management Research and Analytic Consulting Services

To help inform tourism advancement, double tourism revenues in the province by 2030, and support destination management and development, Travel Alberta wishes to retain the services of a range of consultants to provide services informing destination development and management including:
o research;
o critical insights;
o option development;
o measurement framework;
o forecasting;
o recommendations; and
o creative solutions.

Deliverables could include written materials for a variety of purposes. This includes, but is not limited to:
o Situational analysis reviews;
o Competitive/jurisdictional reviews;
o Trend reports such as Environmental Scans;
o Travel data and forecasts;
o Market analysis;
o Policy review and advice;
o Strategic plans;
o Feasibility studies; and
o Best practice reviews.

Must have solid understanding of and experience in:
o Global tourism industry;
o Issues pertaining to destination development and management; and
o Business of tourism.
