Description

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC is seeking two certified professional coaches to provide non-clinical support to registrants in active practice.

The registrant support coach will respond to inquiries from registrants related to medical regulation in British Columbia. Coaches will be expected to guide registrants in understanding and applying College Bylaws and practice standards and navigating non-clinical challenges they face in practice. Coaches may need to help registrants identify and consider relevant legislation (e.g. Health Professions Act and Bylaws made under the Act, Coroners Act), or redirect registrants to other practice supports (e.g. Canadian Medical Protective Association, Doctors of BC, Divisions of Family Practice, Ministry of Health) should they be seeking guidance on matters that fall outside of the College's regulatory mandate.
