Description

The Township of North Dundas invites proposals from qualified firms for pre-design investigations, preliminary design, detailed engineering design, tender document preparation, contract administration and overall project management for the following water and sewer infrastructures:

a) Watermain Loop, Winchester 300 mm watermain loop between Main Street and Fred Street, through Wellings of Winchester development

b) Wastewater Lagoon Expansion, Winchester Install baffles in cell #4, new transfer pipe to improve blending in cell #4, and installation of new specialized treatment system to address ammonia, downstream of the post-aeration cell with new discharge windows

c) Main Street Pumping Station Upgrades and New Force Main, Winchester

d) Water Reservoir, Chesterville (Brennan Drive) 450 m3 water storage facility will be either a new water tower or an increase in storage capacity at the Chesterville reservoir. Based on preliminary calculations, a 9.75 m tank diameter and a 6 m tank height. The project will also include an iron filtration system to improve water quality from the Chesterville well. This ensures consistent blending of water with Winchester system as Winchester Village continues to grow due to developments
