SLV-WRE-2021-RFP - Silvera At Glamorgan: Westview Residences East - Prime Consultant RFP

Currently the project “Westview Residences East” formerly known as “Building 1000” has been granted conditional DP approval and is designed to be a 8-storey mid-rise residential building containing 110 apartments in Glamorgan, Calgary. The proponent will continue the design development of the project and comply with Owner requirements, including but not limited to; energy efficiency as outlined within the current and future amendments to the National Housing Strategy / CMHC requirements, DP conditions (will be supplied to short listed proponents).

The residential units are a mix of senior’s market and affordable apartments.

Silvera is tendering the prime consultant team scope because of tendering requirements now that Silvera’s Building 3000 (Westview Residences West) is in the construction phase. Residences West is anticipated to be complete and occupied prior to the start of construction of Residences East ‘the project’.

To date, S2 Architecture has been responsible for the master planning, site development and servicing design, Design and CA for Building 3000 and schematic design, up to DP of Residences East.

As indicated, the DP submission and DTR process for Residence East has been completed. The scope of this RFP is to secure the Prime Consultant team to advance design and oversee construction for Residences East. This services to be provided in this proposal is for all consultants to ensure successful project delivery except for Landscape and Civil, which will be procured by Silvera separately however the PC should include for all coordination.
