Description

The City of Burnaby's ("City") intent of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to obtain Proposals from a qualified and experienced team led by landscape architectural Consultants to undertake a redesign of the two Central Park ponds, connecting creeks, riparian edge conditions and associated amenities. The goal is to enhance self-sustaining environmental and habitat functions, water quality, water temperature, bank stability, and associated pedestrian viewing and recreational edge condition amenities including site furnishings of the same.

The first phase will undertake a groundwater source and hydrologic investigation to establish a more sustainable water flow to reduce eutrophic conditions. The City is also looking to retain the services of the Consultant for preliminary design services, detailed design services, tendering services and construction contract administration services
