P382021 - Sewer Separation Program – Young Street Pocket and Kaye Street Combined Sewer Study- Engineering Services

The Halifax Regional Water Commission (Halifax Water) is soliciting proposals for engineering services to support its proposed Sewer Separation Program for the Young Street Pocket and the related study of the Kaye Street combined sewer system.

The scope of work involves the following:
• Stormwater service option analysis and study
• Prepare concept designs for each of the options considered as well as those required to address Kaye Street combined sewer overflow problems
• Investigate and update the preliminary designs for the projects listed in Table 3.1
• In subsequent years Halifax Water may proceed with the full detailed design of the remaining projects listed in Table 3.1

Proponents are welcome to attend a voluntary Pre-Proposal Conference to be held virtually, September 21st, 2021, at 11:00 am AST. The project manager and other Halifax Water staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the project. Interested Proponents are asked to confirm their attendance by emailing Procurement in which a Microsoft Teams link will be provided for the virtual pre-proposal conference at that time.
