Description

Hansard Services, a department within the Legislative Assembly is seeking a company ("Contractor") to determine the viability of an automated speech recognition ("ASR") system to provide closed captioning for live and pre-recorded video broadcasts and webcasts of Legislative Assembly proceedings to assist in the preparation of official transcripts known as "Hansard" ("Pilot" or "Pilot Project").

The purpose of this Pilot is primarily to prove the viability and scalability of an ASR system. This system could either be fully customized or it could be off-the-shelf and customized and/or configured to suit Hansard Services' particular needs.
