PRJ46663 - NRFP Consulting Architectural Services for SW1 Building Renewal

BCIT invites architectural consulting firms to engage with BCIT in a flexible procurement process for provision of consulting engineering services for the feasibility study of the Building SW1.

BCIT intends to conduct a business case feasibility study for the proposed building system, structural seismic, landscape design, architectural and functional programmatic renewal of Building SW1, with improvements primarily focused on the Central and East wings of the building. The scope of work will include re-imaging how the building interfaces with important pedestrian and public realm areas adjacent to Building SW1, including Campus Square.

Prior to completion of the Feasibility Study (Phase A) and subject to satisfactory performance of Phase A and budget approval for Phase B-Detailed Design Services, BCIT and the successful Proponent may enter into discussions to negotiate Phase B. Upon successful negotiations, the successful Proponent may be awarded Phase B which will be evidenced as a Standard Form of Agreement between the Owner and Prime Consultant. Subsequently, the same process may be followed for Phase C - Construction Administration and Post-Construction Services.
