Description

The purpose of this RFPQ is to pre-qualify of up to five (5) Qualified Mechanical Contractors that may be permitted to respond as subcontractors to General Contractor(s) who will be responding to upcoming Invitation to Tender processes for the projects described below.

The College anticipates the first phase of its Central Heating Plant Extension project will be tendered in late 2021 or early Q1 of 2022. The scope generally includes installation of new mechanical equipment and piping to connect Building A to the new central heating plant located in L Building. A second phase of this project which involves connecting Building B to the new central heating plant in L Building, including trenching through the middle of campus, may also be tendered later in 2022, pending funding approval.
