The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has a requirement for an Indigenous Evaluation Services Consultant, Intermediate level, for the purpose of informing partners and GAC of recommendations for enhancing the implementation of the International Aboriginal Youth Internships (IAYI) initiative. The IAYI initiative offers Indigenous Canadian youth between the ages of 18 and 35 who possess a secondary school diploma (or equivalent certification) the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad in the field of international development. There are several stakeholders in this project and GAC is striving to integrate input from Indigenous youth in a meaningful way as part of this review.
