Description

Home and community care is an essential part of providing healthcare to Ontarians, enabling people with health and/or special needs to receive direct care in their homes or in the community to improve their overall wellbeing.

Timely availability and delivery of Medical Equipment to Ontario’s home and community care patients is a key requirement in a patient’s episode of care.

Ontario Health has been delegated by Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS), Ministry of Health and Treasury Board to conduct all procurements related to Medical Equipment and Supplies for Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS).

This RFI is issued to obtain further information about the current marketplace for equipment rental with home delivery business in Ontario. Information obtained through this RFI will enable Ontario Health to appropriately conduct a competitive procurement in spring/summer of 2022.
