Description

The North Region of Alberta Parks is planning to replace four playground facilities within the four identified parks below:
i. Hilliard’s Bay Provincial Park (campground playground)
ii. Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area (Group Use Playground)
iii. Moonshine Lake Provincial Park (Day Use Playground)
iv. Cold Lake Provincial Park (Campground Playground)

The current facilities are on average between 20-30 years old and do not meet current Playground Safety Standards. Alberta Parks is looking to hire a playground company to replace these facilities with traditional playground equipment. The successful playground company will be responsible for consulting with Alberta Parks and supplying designs that meet Alberta Parks expectations for each playground. Once the designs are approved, the proponent shall be responsible for supplying the necessary playground materials, subcontractors and overseeing the construction of each playground.
