SA-2022-CMCS-01 - Service Alberta – Category Management Consulting Services

The Province is seeking to enhance its Category Management program to maximize strategic spend in order to get best value for taxpayers while ensuring consistent and quality of goods and services.

The Province envisions the successful Proponent being instrumental in the successful establishment of an effective and efficient Category Management Program Office that delivers strategic recommendations on purchasing goods and services based on predictive spend forecasting, market intelligence, and Government of Alberta priorities.

The Province requires expert consulting services on Category Management. The successful Proponent will work collaboratively with the Province and third party service providers, as required, to gather, assess, plan and support the delivery of Category Management across the Government of Alberta, including associated stakeholder engagement and communication, over the term of the Contract.

Although Phase 1 of the Project must be completed on or before October 1, 2022, the initial term of the Contract will be (2) years, with the Province having the option of extending the Contract for up to four (4) additional years on the same terms and conditions including pricing.
