Description

The Contractor shall repair the ‘Harris Lake Dams’ as provided in the Contract Drawings and in accordance with the Standard Specifications.
Scope of Work
The Harris Lake Dams are an integrated system of four structures located in Wallbridge Township in the NDMNRF’s Parry Sound District and owned, operated, and maintained by NDMNRF. The four structures permit the flow of water into the Harris River and are self-regulating structures designed to hold back and control water levels on Harris Lake

The Work includes repairs to the 4 dam structures on Harris Lake (identified as Spillways 1, 2 & 3 and Earth Plug Dam in the Contract Drawings) and will involve construction of cofferdams, earth excavation, reconstruction of earth dams, new reinforced concrete, repair of existing concrete and the placement of rip rap.

Work is anticipated to commence in the Spring of 2022 and is to be completed by November 30, 2022.
