Description

The Town, in collaboration with the City of Spruce Grove is looking to promote alternative transportation by creating a walkable and bicycle friendly trail that connects the Town of Stony Plain to the City of Spruce Grove along highway 16A. The Town is seeking consulting services for the design and, upon Council budget approval, construction of the trail connection between Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.
The trail connection is approximately 1570 lineal meters, located on the south side of Highway 16A between Range Road 275 (Veterans Boulevard) and Range Road 274(Campsite Road). The trail will be within the road right-of-way and passes through an environmentally significant area (wetland).
