Description

Supply and Delivery of Uniform Dress Shirts

Through this RFB, the Ministry of the Solicitor General (including Correctional Services, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ontario Police College (OPC), Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) and Animal Welfare Services (AWS)), Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), Ministry of Transportation (MTO), Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) (Treasury Board Secretariat) are seeking a qualified Vendor(s) to supply and deliver uniform dress shirts to be used by the Ministries and potentially by other Province of Ontario Police Services (POPS).

The Preferred Bidder will be required to enter into separate agreements with each Ministry for the provision of the Deliverables in the form attached as
set out in Part 1 – Form of Agreement to the RFB. Any rights or obligations of the Ministry that are set out in the RFB are, in the case of the Agreement, rights or obligations of each of Ministry under their respective agreements with the Vendor(s).
Scope of Work
The Garments required are set out in the following two (2) categories:

• Category 1: Uniform Dress Shirts
 A: Polyester/Cotton Blend
 B: Polyester/ Cotton Blend

• Category 2: Uniform Dress Shirts
 C: Polyester/Wool Blend
 D: Polyester/Rayon Blend
 E: Polyester Moisture Wicking (Coolmax ® Extreme or Equivalent)

Bidders may bid on Category 1, or Category 2, or both Categories 1 and 2. Bidders may choose to but are not obliged to bid on both Categories. Each category will be evaluated and awarded separately. Therefore, Bidders wishing to submit a Bid for more than one (1) category must submit a separate Bid for each category.

The Ministry seeks to obtain Garments that are of quality construction, provide comfort and durability and represent the best overall value.

The Ministry will hold a voluntary Bidder information session by teleconference on the date and time below:

Date: October 31, 2022
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Toronto time).

Interested Bidders are asked to register with the Ministry Contact, Constantine Prakofyeu, by email at no later than 4:00 p.m. Toronto time on October 27, 2022. Upon registration, the teleconference information will be provided.

The purpose of the voluntary Bidder information session is to assist prospective Bidders in understanding the procurement process in a formal tendering environment and to provide an overview of the Ministry’s requirements, as set out in the RFB. All interested Bidders are strongly encouraged to register for this voluntary Bidder information session.
