Description of Work:
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) is transitioning from a traditional computing environment and adopting modern information technology (IT) solutions to deliver corporate enterprise services to DFTAD employees as part of the approved digital adoption program. DFATD has adopted Microsoft M365 cloud-powered productivity platform hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud services for e-collaboration and publication of data (records) up to Protected B Medium (PBMM) as part of its information management (IM) strategy and data lifecycle practices. DFATD will leverage the Microsoft SharePoint Online (MS SPO) and Microsoft Teams (Teams) cloud-based software as a service offering on MS Azure Cloud to store, retrieve, search, archive, share, track, manage, and report on digitized documents. Adopting new IT solutions has resulted with unavoidable technical debt. DFATD has an immediate requirement to secure contracted resources with the expertise and knowledge on MS SPO and MS Teams to design, deploy, support and sustain the website-based collaboration system and Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, and Cloud Services to build, deploy, and manage Azure applications and services within the platform while DFATD employees retool and learn the new technologies.
The Information Management Business Solutions team (SICV) of the Information Management and Technology (IM/IT) Bureau (SID) at DFATD is seeking the professional services of up to a total of four (4) IT resources comprised to design, deploy, support and sustain the e-collaboration tool and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
