Description

1. This RFP is open to all proponents.

2. Description: The City of Calgary is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide design and construction engineering services for the Glenmore and Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant Electrical Upgrades Program.
The successful Proponent will need to have a broad range of expertise in major industrial electrical systems, including experiences in an operational brown-field water treatment sites, as well as construction and operational cost estimating.
The anticipated Phases include:
Phase 1 Conceptual Design.
Phase 2 Preliminary Design and Detailed Design.
Phase 3 Pre-construction through to Post-Construction Services.

3.This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.

4. Agreement Term: Substantial completion (scheduled Operational Date) 2028-December 31
