Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Parkland County (the “County”) to prospective respondents to submit their responses to this RFQ (“Quotation”) for Hwy 16A Acheson Intersections, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).

Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 242,595 hectares (599,500 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living.

The intersections to be upgraded are at the following locations:
• Hwy 16A and Spruce Valley Road
• Hwy 16A and Pinchbeck/Bevington Road

The scope of work includes, but it not limited to, grading, common excavation, borrow material, culverts, roadway construction, sanitary and watermain installation, signage, line painting, traffic signals installation, streetlighting and other works as described in this document.
