Description

The Ministry is seeking information about global risk assessment and incident monitoring and notification services.
Scope of Work
According to Ontario Public Service (OPS) Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive, an assessment for physical and information security must be completed before any international business travel will be approved and an information security assessment must be completed before travellers take OPS devices outside of Canada for any reason, including personal travel. The Office of the Provincial Security Advisor (OPSA) provides these assessments through its TravelSecure program administered by the Security Operations Unit (SOU).

The SOU provides a comprehensive risk assessment covering physical safety and information security for travellers in order to inform the ministry decision-makers responsible for approving international travel requests from employees. While OPS employees are working outside Canada, the SOU facilitates monitoring and notification services for events which may impact those travellers.

This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements for global risk assessment and incident monitoring and notification services.
