Description

Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) anticipates that the following procurements will be released in the near future per the details below. This scope and schedule are tentative and subject to change at the HRM’s discretion. This notice does not:

• commit HRM to issue the procurement;
• restrict HRM to the particular procurement approach listed;
• constitute a call for tender; or
• create any contractual or other legal obligation owed to any potential supplier by HRM.

Scope of Work highlights include:
• design and construction of Mill Cove Terminal & Library building, site work and marine infrastructure;
• demolition of the existing Halifax Terminal and marine infrastructure;
• design and construction of new Halifax Terminal, site work and marine infrastructure; and,
• design and construction of a maintenance facility on the Dartmouth waterfront.

Anticipated RFSQ Release: May 2024
Anticipated RFP Release: August 2024
Anticipated Construction Start: Q2 2025
