Description

British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) requires the urgent replacement of a circuit breaker and associated disconnect switch that is part of the 500kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) system at BC Hydro Mica Generating Station. The requirements include the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of one set of new circuit breakers and associated disconnect switches, and the removal and refurbishment of the existing equipment.
Notice is hereby given by BC Hydro and Power Authority of its intent to direct award a contract to GEPR Energy Canada Inc. to supply the above-noted BC Hydro requirements.
