Description

Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a feasibility study for the establishment of a Métis-led credit union in British Columbia. The objective is to determine the viability, regulatory pathway, financial sustainability, and community impact of such an institution.

This feasibility study aligns with MNBC’s commitment to economic self-determination and aims to provide financial services tailored to Métis citizens and businesses.

MNBC represents nearly 90,000 Métis people in 39 Métis Chartered Communities in BC. We are recognized by the Métis National Council, the Provincial Government of British Columbia, and the Federal Government of Canada, as the Governing Nation for Métis in BC.
