1, This NOI is open to all interested vendors. 2, This is a critical safety package. The Railway industry is very unique and there are very few companies that support this industry. The City of Calgary uses Hitachi, Siemens, and Alstom products to run the LRT Signaling Infrastructure. Only Siemens and Hitachi build Gate Mechanisms that support our current engineered infrastructure for direct replacement. “Notice is hereby given by The City of Calgary (“The City”) of its intent to enter into contract with Hitachi Rail STS USA, Inc. for the provision of X46700041 – Kit, Crossing Package Pinnacle for the next five (5) years term, with an option to renew for another five(5) years term, not to exceed a maximum of ten(10) years.
