Description

Strathmore is a growing, vibrant, welcoming community that is recognized as a regional hub for business and recreation. Continued investment in recreation facilities, parks, projects, commercial revitalization, and community programming provides an exceptional quality of life for our residents, visitors, and staff. We’re a close-knit community just outside of Calgary, where you can enjoy the best of both small-town living and big-city amenities. The Town of Strathmore is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide replacement virtualization server hardware and platform software. The Town is looking for cost effective options to meet our needs for at least the next 5 years with enterprise grade reliability and redundancy. Either compute nodes with shared enterprise grade multi-controller storage or a cluster of compute and storage nodes will be considered, either setup must be able to withstand hardware failures without significant service interruption.
