AB-2025-02786 - Seasonal Waste Bin Collection Services

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Cochrane (“the Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Seasonal Waste Bin Collection Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Town of Cochrane Parks and Open Spaces Department and Roads Department are requesting submissions from professional and dependable companies to provide contracted garbage collection services for approximately 249 (two hundred forty nine) waste bins located within Cochrane's public green spaces, joint use sites, and pathways, and 39 (thirty nine) waste bins located along Town roadways. This seasonal contract, running from May 1 to October 31, aims to maintain the cleanliness and environmental integrity of these beloved community spaces. The selected company will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient waste removal, contributing to a positive experience for residents and visitors alike. The Term of the Agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favor of the Town to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 (2) years in one (1) year increments at the Town’s sole discretion.
